About the role:

As Lead Product Manager you will be part of the Product Management Team and will be pivotal to growing

our products and services in line with our strategic goals. You will lead a team of Product Managers and

work alongside our product managers, designers, engineers and business stakeholders to create effective

and innovative capabilities across our industry leading HR applications and services. Also acting as a

contributor, this role will carry strategic responsibility for a defined area of our HR and Employee Self-Service

product, and collaborative support for delivery of others.

Responsibilities

• Product discovery: Develop and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap. Work closely with

Product and Product Design to ensure that we are solving the right problems in the right way.

Leverage data such as NPS and usage to supplement customer and market research to support this.

to ensure successful product release and adoption to initial customers and the market

• Product in-life:. Monitor product performance including NPS and usage identifying opportunities

for improvement to feed into the product backlog. Evangelism and support to the business

stakeholders and customers to ensure that the value of the product is realised. Product life-cycle

management.

• People management: Coach, mentor and manage a team of Product Managers. You will set

clear and measurable objectives and providing regular feedback and guidance.

Lead Product Manager

About you:

• 5+ years experience as a Group/Lead/Senior Product Manager

• +3 years people management experience

• Experience working as part of a global matrix western-based organisation

• Experience of end to end product management cycle working across multiple engineering teams

• Experience in agile methodology and working in a scrum team as a product owner

• Able to influence / communicate with senior stakeholders

• Have a passion for solving customer needs

• Strategic and structured thinking to develop and drive product strategy

• A creative force yourself, but equally, facilitate a creative dialog and stimulate others to be creative

drivers as well to identify new solutions to customers’ needs

• Bring a growth mindset, challenging team members to move to best practice and being open to

learning from others

• Smart and restlessly curious to learn new products, technology and business processes (with a solid

understanding of these and the commercials of a software organisation)

• Able to pivot from 30,000ft product strategy with senior leadership to 1,000ft product detail with a

development team

Bonus points for

• Experience in HR software or services

• Data analysis skills

• Scrum Certification

People Leadership / Team Leadership:

As a Lead Product Manager you will lead a small team of three or more product managers and be

responsible for the day-to-day line management and longer-term coaching and career progression. We

pride ourselves on having a highly-engaged, high-performing, collaborative team and you will play an

important role in maintaining and building that team culture.

Special Circumstances / Other Requirements e.g. travel requirements, working arrangements etc

Occasional travel, once restrictions lifted, to meet with customers, partners and attend events etc
