Proficiency in Backend Development : Strong command of C++ with 4-7 Years of experience in the ability to design, develop, and maintain complex backend systems and APIs.
Lead cross-functional teams : Coordinate and guide teams composed of diverse skill sets towards common goals, ensuring efficient collaboration and synergy.
Develop strategic initiatives : Formulate and execute strategic plans to achieve organisational objectives, utilising market research and data analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Drive operational efficiency : Implement process improvements and workflow optimisations to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
Foster innovation : Encourage a culture of innovation by promoting creativity, experimentation, and risk-taking, fostering an environment where new ideas are welcomed and nurtured.
Manage stakeholder relationships : Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors, to ensure alignment and satisfaction with organisational objectives.
Ensure compliance with regulations : Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations, develop compliance strategies, and oversee implementation to mitigate risk and maintain legal and ethical standards.
Monitor performance metrics : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
What you'll need to bring:
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification. Thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms. Good understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments. Understanding of dynamic polymorphism and C++ specific notions, such as friend classes. Familiarity with templating in C++. Knowledge of RESTful principles and best practices, also experience with Dragon Framework. Good to have Websocket & Multicast.
System Architecture & Design : Ability to design a system from scratch. Familiar with microservices and sharding architecture.
Cloud Computing Platforms : Proficiency in deploying, managing, and optimising cloud infrastructure on platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and Cloud Watch.
Web Servers and Proxies : Knowledge of configuring and optimising web servers like NGINX for load balancing, reverse proxying, and caching, to enhance the performance and security of web applications and APIs.
Asynchronous Programming and Messaging : Experience with asynchronous programming techniques and message queuing systems such as Rabbit MQ or Kafka, for handling background tasks, event-driven processing, and inter-service communication.
Security Best Practices : Understanding of security principles and best practices, including encryption, access controls, authentication, and authorisation, to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Version Control Systems : Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for code management, collaboration, and deployment, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts effectively.
Troubleshooting and Debugging : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues efficiently, utilising debugging tools, log analysis, and performance monitoring solutions.

Communication Skills : Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and participate in team discussions and code reviews.
Teamwork and Collaboration : Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment, contributing ideas, sharing knowledge, and supporting team members to achieve common goals and deliver high-quality solutions.
