Job Title: General Manager Finance
Job Summary:
We seek a highly skilled and strategic General Manager Finance to lead and manage our finance department. This role oversees financial planning, budgeting, risk management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with deep financial expertise who can drive profitability, ensure compliance, and contribute to the company’s long-term financial health and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with business goals.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Financial Operations
Lead day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, treasury, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Optimize financial processes for efficiency and scalability.
Risk Management & Compliance
Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Oversee audits and maintain compliance with tax regulations and legal standards.
Performance Management & Analysis
Monitor key financial metrics, analyzing trends and performance to identify growth and improvement areas.
Develop financial models to support business decisions and improve profitability.
Oversee cost management initiatives to drive cost efficiency.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Set goals, conduct performance evaluations, and support team members in achieving their career objectives.
Stakeholder Relations
Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to support strategic objectives.
Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of (3) years of experience in finance, with at least (1) years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Experience in Saa S/Gaming is a plus.
Strong business acumen and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.

Prior Experience with the following tools
Experience with Multi-Country (India +1) Financial ecosystems - Audit, reporting, Taxation (if UAE - then it is a plus)
Previous experience managing External vendors for compliance, audit, taxation, VAT etc
Highly skilled and Diligent at Excel for Management Reporting and MIS
