The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire bid management process, ensuring high-quality, winning proposals are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities : Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the bid management team, ensuring professional growth and high performance. Develop and implement training programs for the team to enhance skills and efficiency. Bid Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute bid strategies to increase win rates and secure new business. Collaborate with sales, solutions, and delivery teams to align bid strategies with company goals. Proposal Development: Oversee the entire proposal development process, from initial qualification to final submission. Ensure proposals are compliant with client requirements and company standards. Review and approve proposal documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and persuasiveness. Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth bid processes. Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor strategies. Use insights to inform bid strategies and improve competitiveness. Financial and Risk Management: Manage bid budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the bid process and proposals. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve bid management processes and tools. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and competitiveness. Qualifications : Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in bid management, within the IT industry Exposure to solutioning and estimation techniques is expected Team management experience will be added advantage Skills: Proficiency in bid management software and tools. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong understanding of IT services and solutions. Strong leadership and team management skills.
