Key responsibilities include gathering client requirements, configuring RMCS for contract and revenue management, collaborating with finance and sales teams, troubleshooting issues, and providing end-user training and support for seamless financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirement Gathering:Partner with business stakeholders, particularly finance and sales, to understand and document business needs related to revenue management, billing, and cash applications.Solution Design & Configuration:Configure Oracle RMCS modules to meet specific business requirements, including managing revenue contracts, performance obligations, and standalone selling prices (SSP).Implementation:Lead and execute implementation projects for Oracle RMCS, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and client objectives.System Integration:Facilitate the integration of RMCS with other Oracle Cloud modules (e.g., Oracle Financials, SCM, Order Management) and external systems for data flow and automation.Troubleshooting & Support:Provide ongoing support to end-users, resolving issues related to invoicing, cash applications, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and intercompany transactions.Revenue Recognition & Compliance:Ensure adherence to ASC 606/IFRS 15 standards by analyzing revenue data, managing deferrals and accruals, and supporting multi-currency and multi-GAAP reporting.Process Improvement:Analyze existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements to optimize the use of the Oracle RMCS application.Training:Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding of RMCS functionalities and processes.Required Skills & ExperienceOracle RMCS Expertise:Proven experience with Oracle RMCS implementation projects and/or relevant certifications.Revenue Recognition Standards:In-depth knowledge of ASC 606/IFRS 15 and their application within business processes.Core Finance Processes:Thorough understanding of billing, revenue management, cash application, collections, and intercompany processes.Technical Skills:Ability to configure and customize Oracle Cloud applications, along with good awareness of out-of-the-box integrations.Soft Skills:Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Project Management:Strong project management skills, especially in leading large-scale implementation projects.
