Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Human Resource Associate to assist in managing our HR functions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in recruitment, employee engagement, payroll, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and labor laws. If you're passionate about contributing to a dynamic construction environment, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment for various positions across construction projects, including sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Support onboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires with proper documentation and orientation programs.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records and data in HR systems.
- Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements, handling queries related to compensation.
- Help manage employee relations by addressing concerns and providing guidance on HR policies.
- Assist with compliance management, ensuring adherence to labor laws, health, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and training programs.
- Collaborate with the operations team to manage contract labor-related documentation and processes.
- Assist in the implementation of HR projects and improvements to streamline HR operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 1-3 years of experience in HR, preferably within the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Solid understanding of HR processes, labor law compliance, and statutory regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in payroll and employee records management is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (HRIS/ATS systems).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
