Our hopes and dreams are to create this future as quickly as possible and ensure that it is widely distributed and optimized to maximize all forms of human excellence.About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) to own the quality charter across our full-stack Health Tech platform, covering web, mobile, and backend systems. You will design and implement the overall QA strategy, ensure automation-first delivery, and drive end-to-end release reliability. This role demands hands-on technical leadership and the ability to scale QA processes in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.Responsibilities- Define and own the QA roadmap and test strategy across all platform layers (UI, API, database, integrations).- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to align testing priorities with product and compliance requirements.- Establish and track key QA metrics — defect density, test coverage, automation ratio, release readiness, and production stability.- Architect and maintain robust frameworks for unit, integration, regression, and performance testing.- Design scalable test environments that simulate real-world data, user journeys, and device configurations.- Drive an automation-first culture using frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, Playwright, or Postman.- Integrate automation pipelines with CI/CD systems (Git Lab, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline) for seamless deployment verification.- Oversee performance, load, and scalability testing using tools like JMeter, k6, or Gatling.- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA, ISO 13485, and GDPR.- Lead and mentor QA and Automation Engineers, ensuring skill development and delivery excellence.- Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Leads for sprint planning, release readiness, and RCA reviews.- Promote continuous improvement through dashboards, automation frameworks, and test management best practices.Requirements- 8 to12 years of overall experience in QA, with at least 3+ years in a QA leadership role.- Proven expertise in designing and managing automation frameworks for web, mobile, and backend systems.- Hands-on experience with Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter, Vitest, or similar tools.- Strong understanding of REST APIs, SQL/No SQL databases, and cloud platforms.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and test environment orchestration.- Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes and test management tools (JIRA, Test Rail, Confluence).- Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience in Health Tech, Saa S, or large-scale platform environments.- Exposure to regulatory testing for healthcare and data protection.- Experience building automated dashboards or QA analytics for release health monitoring.- Contributions to open-source QA frameworks or automation tools.Here are answers to some questions you may haveWho is Amura?We are a Health Tech startup with presence in multiple countries.How old are you?7+ years.What is special about you?Our clients are at the heart of the Amura protocol — an intensive health program.
