We are now looking to add a SON Engineer to our newly formed customer experience team to work within the Global ISD group assisting our customers with patience, understanding, and technical skills. maximize network Optimization and functionality to achieve their business goals. Job Overview Here at HCL SON BU, we are seeking to hire an experienced SON Technical Specialist to join our team. If you're a passionate self-starter, HCL is a great company for you. Responsibilities Review and approve quality documentation, qualification and ensure the required standard is met at all times. Short & long term planning for Advance Services team. Troubleshoot, investigate, root cause analysis into qualification failures and method issues. Excellent knowledge of NR/LTE network architecture as well as ecosystem elements – OSS, e Node B, g Node B, Femto, etc. Excellent knowledge in different vendor RF Optimization Parameters- Must. Able to Analyze Customer Radio Networks Design and Performance to identify challenges and opportunities. Work with the Customer to determine and agree how SON will be integrated into the Network. Database Experience SQL, MONGO. Hands on experience in OSS and SNMP protocol integration. Experience in Ericsson, Huawei & Nokia RAN Optimization is a plus. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, computer science, Electronics, or a related field. • Proven experience working directly with customers around the globe- Must. • Proven ability to solve problems creatively. • Excellent analytical skills. • Experience with Agile methodologies, software environment and delivery teams. • Familiar with cellular industry, RAN vendors- Must.
