Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Android Developer at COLTEC-GLOBAL in Hyderabad. The Senior Android Developer will be responsible for mobile application development, Android design, software development, and creating innovative solutions to enhance the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:  Lead the development of advanced applications for the Android platform, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
Collaboration:  Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to define, design, and implement new features.
Integration:  Leverage external data sources, RESTful APIs, and third-party libraries to enhance application functionality and user engagement.
Testing and Optimization:  Conduct thorough unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance for a smooth user experience.
Continuous Improvement:  Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies, implementing them to maximize efficiency and scalability.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Background:  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
5-7 years of proven experience in Android app development, with a strong portfolio of original apps published on the Google Play Store.
Demonstrated experience in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance mobile applications.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
Proficiency with Android SDK, Android Studio, and development tools.
Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries (e.g., Retrofit, Glide).
Strong understanding of real-time data synchronization, WebSocket integration, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with mobile architectures such as MVVM and MVP.
UI/UX Design:  Solid knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices for creating a great user experience.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in video conferencing, streaming applications, or educational technology solutions.
Familiarity with TypeScript, React Native, and hybrid app development.
Knowledge of back-end technologies like .NET or Java.
Experience with machine learning frameworks and AI-based features.
