We are on the hunt for a passionate and skilled Senior Quality Engineer with a knack for test automation to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you'll be a key player in ensuring the highest quality for our cutting-edge applications.

What You'll Do:

  • Craft Unforgettable Test Frameworks: Design, develop, and implement robust test frameworks using industry-leading tools like Rest Assured for API testing and Playwright for UI testing.
  • Collaborate with the Best: Work closely with brilliant developers, innovative product managers, and other talented stakeholders to create and maintain winning test strategies.
  • Automate with Excellence: Automate test cases for both our robust RESTful APIs and captivating front-end applications, boosting testing efficiency and coverage to new heights.
  • Champion Quality: Execute and maintain top-notch automated test suites, meticulously analyse test results, and swiftly debug any issues to ensure exceptional quality across all our applications.
  • Establish Best Practices: Set, document, and champion best practices for test automation and execution, ensuring a smooth and efficient testing process.
  • Integrate Seamlessly: Integrate our powerful test frameworks into our cutting-edge CI/CD pipelines, enabling seamless automated testing within our streamlined DevOps workflows.
  • Be an Agile Champion: Actively participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and engaging agile ceremonies, contributing to continuous quality improvement.
  • Mentor and Grow: Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your expertise on testing best practices and automation strategies to foster a culture of excellence.

What You'll Bring:

  • A Strong Foundation: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, with a laser focus on test automation.
  • Hands-on Mastery: Strong hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API testing and Playwright for UI testing – you know these tools inside and out
  • API Testing Prowess: Deep understanding of testing REST APIs, with a track record of developing and executing successful API test automation.
  • Framework Architect: Proven experience building and developing automated test cases from the ground up.
  • CI/CD Savvy: Familiarity with leading CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and a knack for integrating automated tests into the build pipeline.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience with test case management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems like Git.
  • Analytical Powerhouse: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Agile Agility: Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver outstanding results within tight deadlines in a fast-paced agile environment.

Bonus Points:

  • BDD Expertise: Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Containerization Know-how: Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Performance Testing: Experience with performance testing tools or frameworks (e.g., JMeter).
  • Programming Prowess: Knowledge of programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python is a definite plus
