Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a Jira Plugin Development expert. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on Jira plugin development, reports, integrations, CI/CD pipelines, workflows, and API development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom Jira plugins, as well as integrating them with other tools and systems.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom Jira plugins using Atlassian
Create reports and dashboards to provide insights into Jira data
Develop integrations with other tools and systems using APIs and webhooks
Implement CI/CD pipeline
Design and implement workflows to automate business processes
Develop and maintain APIs to integrate with other systems
Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure plugin stability and quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing plugins and integrations
Requirements:
Proficiency in Java and Atlassian SDK
Experience with Jira plugin development (Atlassian SDK, Jira API)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab, or similar tools)
Familiarity with API development
Experience with unit testing and integration testing
