Role Overview:
As a Senior Python Full-Stack Engineer , you will be an integral part of the core development team responsible for building and leading the development of new products. Your expertise in Python & React.js with cloud computing (especially AWS), and modern software engineering practices will drive the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and high-performance applications.
You will work on the full lifecycle of software development, from conceptualization to deployment, mentoring junior developers, and guiding the technical direction of the team. You will also play a key role in optimizing system performance, enhancing security, and ensuring that the applications follow best practices and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:
Design, develop, test, and integrate applications of medium complexity using Python and React.js associated frameworks (Django, Flask).
Lead new product development initiatives, taking ideas from conception to production.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical direction to team members to solve complex production and design problems.
Mentor and coach junior developers, helping them grow their technical expertise.
Contribute to the team’s knowledge-sharing culture and ensure alignment with best practices.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication:
Demonstrate strong collaboration skills across development teams, business stakeholders, and product owners.
Act as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating complex concepts.
Best Practices & Methodology:
Drive the implementation of best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Agile/XP methodologies.
Ensure high-quality, secure, and maintainable code.
Maintain relevant system documentation and ensure it stays up to date.
Lead development initiatives, leveraging AWS services and tools to build resilient, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
Experience in managing cloud infrastructure and cloud-native application design.
Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Expertise:
Total 7+ years of Industry experience.
Python : 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python & React.js , especially in full-stack development (using frameworks like Django, Flask).
API Design : Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
Databases : Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
Cloud : 2+ years of experience in cloud development, specifically with AWS .
Engineering Practices : Experience with TDD, DevSecOps, software automation, and CI/CD practices.
Methodologies & Tools:
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and XP practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and how to integrate development and operations workflows.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to resolve complex technical challenges.
Desired Experience:
Emerging Technologies:
Experience or familiarity with Data & AI and how to leverage these technologies in product development.
Ability to explore, evaluate, and implement emerging frameworks, technologies, and tools.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
