Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Python Full Stack Engineer. As a Full Stack Engineer at Octopi.Health, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the front-end and back-end of our platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, troubleshoot and debug issues, and ensure the scalability and performance of the system. You will contribute to the overall architecture and technical direction of the platform.


Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using Python and related frameworks (Django, etc.).

2. Build scalable and efficient backend systems, integrating databases, APIs, and third-party services.

3. Develop user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, QA) to deliver high-quality software solutions.

5. Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code with a focus on security and performance.

6. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback.

7. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development and Python ecosystem.


 Requirements:

1. 1 - 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack Python development.

2. Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming concepts.

3. Extensive experience with web frameworks (Django) and RESTful API development (Django Rest Framework & Fast API’s).

4. Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).

5. Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).

6. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and deployment strategies.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

8. Strong communication skills and a passion for learning and innovation.


 Nice to Have:

1. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

2. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines).

3. Knowledge of Git,Jira.
