At J24, we’re looking for a colleague with experience in Operations Excellence to join our young, dynamic team.
Our network of modern convenience stores is rapidly growing and this role is critical in enhancing the efficiency of our store operations, last-mile delivery, and warehouse functions.
The ideal candidate will bring a passion for process improvement and a proven track record in operations excellence.
Responsibilities: Drive Operational Efficiency: Lead initiatives to optimize store operations, last-mile delivery, and warehouse functions, aiming to reduce costs and improve service quality.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Performance Metrics: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and drive operational performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with store managers, logistics teams, and other stakeholders to implement best practices across all operational areas.
Training and Development: Mentor and train teams on operational excellence tools and methodologies to build a culture of continuous improvement.
Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Problem Solving: Act as a problem-solving expert to identify root causes of operational inefficiencies and drive sustainable solutions.
Technology Integration: Collaborate with the product and tech team to leverage technology and automation for process enhancements.
Change Management: Drive change initiatives across the organization, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.
Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of improvement initiatives, backed by data-driven insights and analysis.
Qualifications: 5-6 years of experience in operations excellence, preferably in retail or logistics.
Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across functions and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
