Role - Technical Architect (Expertise at Mongo DB/Cassandra DB)

Education Criteria:
Qualified Software Professionals from Premium Institutes in B. Eng / B. Tech / M. Eng / M. Tech / Research Scholars in Computer Science
Experience Level:
Up to 15 years of experience in Software Engineering / Development
3+ years of experience in architecting Enterprise applications with Mongo DB / Cassandra DB
Technical Skills (Essential)
Proven experience as an architect for high volume high throughput applications in the past. Engineering experience in building scaled and resilient distributed solutions.
Advanced knowledge and hands on experience (MUST) in Excellent Database design skills is mandatory. Candidate should have experience and expertise in designing optimal object / document structure for storage and retrieval.
Design and implement DR plans and HA solutions and recommendations for the DB.
Ability to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executives is a must.
Expertise in Microservices, Interfaces, Events and APIs based architecture solutions.
Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, data, security, devops)
Expertise in Java or other modern programming languages.
Fine-tune configurations – Mongo DB / Cassandra DB and servers for performance improvement.
Implement optimal backup and recovery.
Working experience with in-memory databases like Redis, Hazlecast is an advantage.
Create and publish database health checks to monitoring systems for following:
Identify slow queries
Replication lags
Node failures
Index usage patterns
Locks
Number of connections
Roles & Responsibilities:
The main areas of activity and responsibility are:
Consult business management team to clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified products.
Work with domain, product management and productengineering teams in the solutionengineering efforts.
Work with pre-sales and product management teams in solutiondemonstrations.
Maintain product roadmap and architectural standards that assure product development projects optimally alignwith business objectives.
Provide support for production escalations and problemresolution for customers.
Assist technical team with issuesneeding technical expertiseor complex systemsknowledge.
Develop broad knowledge about current and future product features.
Analyze market segments and customerbase to develop market solutions.
Define product requirements that address market opportunities.
Part of Software Development Leadership.
Provide Technical Solution Design, Development and Architecture of new and existing products.
Work with respective Product Manager in planning and execution of new product releases
Self-starting, driven and confident.
Technical Skills (Desirable):
Excellent presentation skills and ability to express conceptual and physical architecture and guidelines to key strategic team and the development team.
Comfortable workingin a team, also with membersof other teams when needed.
Good analytical skills: understand the problem, analyzea situation, proposea solution, discussthe approach, search similar problems on internet for possible solutions if needed, report results in coherent manner.
Ability to quickly learnnew technologies, tools,and environments.
Excellent people and coordination skills in interactions with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and external third parties
Effective working with people in different geographical locations, cultures, and time zones
Effective communication, both written and spoken.
Being open to travel locally / internationally.
