Techtinium Technologies is building an intelligent system to optimize workflows, create production plans, and schedule manufacturing operations . Our vision is to enable manufacturing leaders to make faster, smarter decisions through an AI-driven conversational interface that allows users to:

  • Interact via chat to execute commands.
  • Add, Retrieve and Update operational data seamlessly.
  • Derive actionable insights from real-time and historical data.

We are looking for a hands-on technical leader who can design, architect, and build this conversational AI system from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

System Architecture & Development

  • Design and develop a chat-based interface integrated with manufacturing data sources.
  • Build natural language understanding (NLU) models to interpret user queries and translate them into workflow execution commands, database operations, or insight generation tasks .

Conversational AI & Orchestration

  • Implement or integrate with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, fine-tuned domain-specific models) for natural conversation.
  • Develop a domain-specific ontology and prompt-engineering framework for manufacturing terminology.
  • Design a command execution layer that translates chat intents into system actions.

Data & Insights

  • Work with the data team to define data models for manufacturing workflows .
  • Build insight generation modules (e.g., “What’s the bottleneck on Line 2?” or “Reschedule this order for earliest completion”).
  • Ensure data security and role-based access control .

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Manufacturing SMEs, and Data Scientists to define system capabilities.
  • Lead technical decision-making, mentor junior engineers, and ensure best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, or Java .
  • Experience with conversational AI frameworks (Rasa, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom LLM integrations).
  • Proficiency in Database Design and Query Optimisation (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or manufacturing ERP databases).
  • Familiarity with Operations Research, Scheduling Algorithms, or Optimisation techniques .
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset ; comfortable in early-stage, fast-moving environments.
