- the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and driven UPI Product Manager to lead and grow our Unified Payments Interface (UPI) products. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our UPI offerings, including strategy, development, implementation, and optimization. This role is crucial for driving digital payments innovation and ensuring our UPI solutions deliver exceptional value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and drive the UPI product roadmap aligned with overall company goals, market trends, and customer needs. Customer
- Focus: Understand and anticipate customer requirements, pain points, and needs through research, data analysis, and feedback from stakeholders.
- Product Development: Work with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to manage the development lifecycle—from ideation to launch—of new features and enhancements for UPI products.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use data insights to make informed decisions about product prioritization, feature enhancements, and overall product direction.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all UPI products are compliant with regulations (NPCI guidelines, RBI policies, etc.) and maintain high standards of security to protect customer data.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Compliance, and Customer Support, to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing support.
- Partnerships: Identify and build relationships with strategic partners, payment processors, banks, and other stakeholders to enhance the product's reach and efficiency.
- User Experience (UX): Advocate for and implement best practices in user experience to ensure the UPI product is intuitive, fast, and user-friendly.
- Performance Tracking: Define, track, and optimize key performance metrics (KPIs) for UPI product adoption, usage, and satisfaction.
Must Haves:
- Experience: 3-6 years of experience in product management, with at least 1-2 years focused on digital payments, UPI, or FinTech products.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of UPI protocols, NPCI guidelines, and the digital payments infrastructure.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and feedback into product requirements and enhancements.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly articulate product strategy and technical details to diverse audiences.
