These platforms help clients convert complex, fragmented data into actionable enterprise intelligence.We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure that our products are reliable, secure, and deliver a high-quality experience to enterprise users.Role OverviewAs a QA Engineer at Scry AI, you will be responsible for testing web applications, backend services, and AI-driven workflows across Auriga, Collatio, and Concentio. You will design and execute test plans, identify defects, work closely with developers and product managers, and contribute to both manual and automated testing. This role demands strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and a commitment to shipping robust features.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning and DesignUnderstand business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for each releaseCreate comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data covering functional, regression, and integration testingIdentify edge cases and negative scenarios, especially for complex enterprise workflows and data-heavy use casesContribute to test strategy and coverage for new modules and product areasManual Testing and Defect ManagementExecute manual test cases for web UIs, APIs, and workflows across multiple environmentsLog defects with clear reproduction steps, impact, and priority in the chosen tracking toolRe-test fixed issues and perform regression testing to ensure stability before releasesWork with developers and product managers to clarify issues, validate fixes, and maintain quality gatesAutomation and ToolsContribute to building and maintaining automated test suites for regression and smoke testsWrite and maintain test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar (as applicable)Help integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent, reliable releasesSuggest improvements in tooling, frameworks, and automation coverage over timeCross-Functional CollaborationCoordinate closely with product managers, developers, and data scientists to understand use cases and expected behaviorParticipate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and release discussions as part of the agile teamProvide clear quality status updates, risk assessments, and go/no-go inputs for releasesShare feedback on usability, flows, and edge cases to improve overall product experienceQuality, Performance, and Data ValidationValidate data accuracy and consistency for document extraction, AI outputs, and dashboards, especially in BFSI and operations use casesPerform basic performance and load sanity checks where required and flag anomaliesEnsure that critical workflows and SLAs are validated for each release cycleHelp maintain test environments, sample data sets, and structured test documentationRequired Qualifications and Skills2–5 years of experience as a QA Engineer / Software Tester / Test Engineer in web or enterprise applicationsStrong understanding of software testing concepts: test design, test cycles, defect lifecycle, and regression testingHands-on experience in manual functional testing of web applications and APIsExperience with bug tracking and project management tools (e.G., Jira, ClickUp, or similar)Basic understanding of SQL or data validation for verifying backend data is a plusExposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatoryGood communication skills and the ability to document and explain issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholdersOur Ideal CandidateIs meticulous, structured, and persistent about reproducing and isolating issuesThink from both the user’s perspective and the system’s perspective to identify gapsIs proactive about questioning assumptions, edge cases, and incomplete requirementsIs comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving features and prioritiesIs excited to help improve the quality of AI-driven products like Auriga, Collatio, and Concentio for global enterprisesIf this role interests you, follow our page to stay updated on more job opportunities and to see how Scry AI partners with leading enterprises to deploy secure, scalable AI solutions.
