At Smarsh, we’ve been helping our customers manage new forms of communication since 1998. Our products include Connected Capture, Connected Archive, Web Archive & Business Solutions.
As a Developer , you will serve as the technical and strategic leader for the development and evolution of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) . Define the architecture and long-term vision for the IDP , aligning it with our roadmap and business objectives.
Identify gaps in current developer workflows and implement features to enhance engineering efficiency.
Champion the adoption of best practices for IDP development and operations.
Lead the implementation of key roadmap initiatives, such as:
Development of a self-service developer portal with end-to-end integration for provisioning and deployment.
Build observability features into the IDP, leveraging tools like Prometheus and Grafana for performance monitoring.
Act as a subject matter expert for the IDP platform , developing features and helping the team to resolve their ongoing issues.
Establish and enforce governance policies for platform access, usage, and modifications.
Continuously optimize the performance and scalability of the IDP.
Experience: 7-12 years in platform engineering, with Hands-on development in large-scale SaaS or cloud environments.
Mastery of AWS cloud services and Kubernetes for scalable application deployment.
Experience with building developer portals and enabling self-service workflows.
