Hi, Position: Biopharma Specialist- Process Data Science (PDS ) Reports To: Head of Data Science Location – Pune CTC – 20 LPA Education/Skills/Experience: • Bachelors / Master’s degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engg.
with a minimum of 2 yrs-5+ years of relevant work experience Essential Duties and Key Competencies • A Chemical / Biochemical Engineer with strong understanding of pharma / Biopharma manufacturing processes as mentioned below: o Biopharmaceutical industry o Pharma (API & Formulation) processes • Must have supported data analytics requirements for upstream and downstream processes involved in the production of biologics, including cell culture, fermentation, purification, and formulation, ensuring adherence to GMP and regulatory standards • Must have supported data analytics team to standardize and develop the best practices in order to optimize cell culture and fermentation processes to improve cell growth and productivity Strong analytical, thinking and reasoning capabilities • Be able to guide team in setting up the frameworks for efficient monitor and prediction of critical process parameters (CPPs) such as p H, temperature, and oxygen levels in bioreactor systems • Lead efforts to improve downstream purification processes, including chromatographic separations and filtration techniques, to ensure high product yield and purity • Be able to Utilize fundamentals multivariate analysis (MVA) and statistical tools such as Design of Experiments (DOE) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to optimize production processes • Be able to support global conduct with root cause analysis for process deviations, using techniques like Fishbone diagrams and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) • Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure successful implementation • Strong experience (Hands-on) on statistical tools like Minitab, SIMCA Online and modelling proficiency in Python, R Additional Skills • Experience in performing predictive analytics for bioreactor(2k L) process improvement studies • Soft sensor development for yield improvement for bioreactor (2k L, 5 Kl) • Development of Scalable hybrid model for multiscale bioreactors (lab, pilot and production • Expertise in enhancement of downstream chromatography process • Predictive maintenance for centrifuge operations (Downstream separation biopharma processes) Regards, Neha Khandelwal
