Agile Development: Be a team member who is responsible for coding, validating, debugging, reliability, performance analysis, optimize performance through code and the ongoing operational aspects of the product in an Agile environment. Deliver quality code via unit and integration testing through the Test-Driven Development (TDD) process. Build a best practice of engineering which includes zero regression zero rework coding. Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards within and outside of teams with industry best practices tools like Microsoft Co-pilot etc. Customer First Approach: to Collaborate closely with customer support and quality assurance teams to address customer-reported issues and ensure timely resolution. This team is instrumental in developing Ivanti's purpose-built platform for CIOs and CISOs powered by Ivanti Neurons - a cloud-scale, hyperautomation layer that enables proactive healing, user-friendly security across the organization and provides an enhanced user experience. We are looking for a collaborative Staff Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development efforts for the ITSM (IT Service Management) product. In this role, you will work closely with a team of experienced engineers to ensure the feature development, stability, scalability, and security of the ITSM Integration platform. Your focus will be on enhancing and revamping existing architecture, stabilization of services for SaaS customers, enable the service for vertical & horizontal scaling in containers, AI capabilities etc. Also, addressing the security vulnerability work, and implementing shift-left testing strategies to uphold the high quality of our releases. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information science from a premier institution. Possess 8-15 years of software development experience, including a minimum of 3 years in cloud development with expertise in microservice architecture and messaging services such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in programming, particularly in at least one language such as C#, along with proficiency in SQL database management. Proven experience in unit testing, automation testing, and familiarity with CI/CD deployment models. Experience in .NET Framework to Code conversion for mid to large enterprise products. Proficiency in Platforms/Runtimes such as Kubernetes and Docker. Competence in utilizing Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) for tracking work items, bugs, and test cases. Eagerness to learn, adapt quickly to new technologies, and demonstrate a commitment to designing for scalability and secure software development practices.
