Com Job Summary: The Director- Oracle, will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of Oracle-related projects and services. This role involves managing a team of Oracle professionals, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time,within scope, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Oracle professionals Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture. Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback. Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute the Oracle strategy aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with senior management to define and prioritize Oracle projects. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. Technical Expertise: Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of Oracle solutions. Ensure adherence to best practices in Oracle configuration and customization. Stay updated on Oracle platform updates and industry trends. Project Management: Manage development timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Track and report on project progress and key performance indicators. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business units to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Quality Assurance: Implement robust testing and quality assurance processes. Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirements. Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards. Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of Oracle support, maintenance, and enhancement services. Ensure timely resolution of client issues and requests. Implement and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)Continuously improve managed services processes and methodologies. Implement best practices for incident management, problem management, and change management. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Overall 15+ years of experience, 10+ years of experience in Oracle deployments (Functional/technical/project management)At least one greenfield deployment experience7+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role. Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP, CRM, and cloud solutions- SCM and Finance modules preferred, multi-module experience strongly desired Proficiency in Oracle databases, applications, and middleware Experience with Oracle integration tools and techniques Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) certification Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of data migration and ETL processes. Experience in the Hi-tech, Healthcare & Pharma and Manufacturing sectors
