Role OverviewThe Sr. Manager – Land Acquisition will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and acquiring suitable land parcels for Solar EPC projects. The role requires strong experience in land due diligence, stakeholder management, regulatory compliance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely acquisition and smooth project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and evaluate land parcels suitable for utility-scale solar projects across India. Must have handled land parcels more than 500 AcresConduct feasibility studies including technical, legal, and commercial due diligence of land.Negotiate with landowners, aggregators, and local authorities to acquire land on purchase/lease basis.Manage land acquisition process end-to-end, ensuring compliance with state and central regulatory requirements.Coordinate with legal teams for title verification, documentation, and registration of land.Liaise with government departments, revenue authorities, and local bodies for approvals and NOCs.Build and manage relationships with local communities, government agencies, and key stakeholders.Maintain updated database of land opportunities, acquisition status, and cost benchmarks.Support project development team in securing Right of Way (Ro W), transmission corridor, and access roads.Monitor and resolve land-related disputes/issues during project execution and operation.Lead a team of executives/associates for smooth execution of acquisition targets.Key RequirementsGraduate in Law / Business Administration / Rural Management / Engineering; MBA or equivalent preferred.10–15 years of experience in land acquisition, preferably in Renewable Energy / Solar / Infrastructure / EPC.Should have experience in Managing land acquisition across various states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Southern India.Strong knowledge of land laws, state-specific revenue rules, and regulatory compliances.Proven track record in acquiring large land parcels for utility-scale solar/wind projects.Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to travel extensively across project sites and regions.Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.CompetenciesStrategic thinking and planningProblem-solving and decision-makingNetworking and relationship buildingNegotiation and influencing skillsHigh integrity and ethical conductWhy Join Us?Be part of a dynamic and growing industry that is shaping the future of Solar energy.Work with a team of dedicated professionals committed to sustainability and innovation.Opportunity to develop and implement legal strategies that drive business success while ensuring compliance.
