Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Product Owner at Flexi Analyst. The Product Owner will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to product management, business analysis, and software development.
Key Position Responsibilities include:
Work closely with the Product Management division to assure that Product and R&D are aligned on product strategy and direction.
Manage the prioritized feature backlog and assure that it is correctly aligned with the product roadmap.
Author clear, complete, and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with Scrum Masters and Engineers on sprint planning, including techniques such as story grooming, feature decomposition, spike stories, story estimating, story and sprint sequencing, etc.
Work closely with engineers and QA to assure rapid and correct resolution of questions and issues regarding the stories and backlog.
Participate in and support all standard agile ceremonies.
Assure reliable and efficient sprint execution by closely managing changes in priority, scope, and functional specification.
Help produce release notes and other go-to-market artifacts.
Assure that the Definition of Done is satisfied for all development work items.
Support a metrics-driven continuous improvement environment by adapting to change and providing appropriate input on standards, methods, and best practices.
Communication and coordination across different stakeholder groups as needed.
Required Experience and Qualifications
10+ years of proven experience as a software development product owner in an Agile or SAFe Agile environment
Bachelor’s degree of higher in Computer Science or other related fields
In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to form effective, respectful working relationships, and to serve as trusted advisor to different stakeholder groups.
Strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle and product management processes
Proficient in Agile backlog management tools such as Azure DevOps / Azure Boards
Familiarity with spatial design concepts, especially in regard to built spaces such as offices, kitchens, bathrooms, etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
