Hiring SQL DBA L2 for our premium project.
Job Summary: The Database Management L2 Support role provides advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance for SQL database. This role involves handling escalated issues, ensuring database performance, and supporting critical incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, such as performance bottlenecks, query optimization, and connectivity problems.
- Perform database administration tasks, including backup and restore management, replication, patching, and security updates.
- Configure and maintain user roles, permissions, and database security settings.
- Monitor and analyze database performance metrics to identify and resolve performance issues, escalating to L3 as needed.
- Document procedures, solutions, and best practices, contributing to a knowledge base for the team.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure database stability, scalability, and high availability.
- Assist with disaster recovery planning and execution, as well as with database migration activities.
Required Experience: 3-5 Years of Experience in Database administration
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of SQL database administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with database performance monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Oracle Enterprise Manager).
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, as well as configuring and troubleshooting database backups.
- Working knowledge of scripting (e.g., SQL, Shell) for database automation tasks.
- Strong English communication skills for documentation and cross-team collaboration.
