And be a part of a team that is known for its unwavering commitment to make a difference in partnership with its clients, shareholders, communities, and colleagues.Role Overview:The Head of Country/Region Student Recruitment Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing student recruitment efforts within a specific country or region to achieve targeted student recruitment numbers. This role involves developing and executing recruitment strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with the university's overall recruitment goals. The Head of Country/Region Student Recruitment Manager will work closely with faculties, admissions, and other departments to achieve recruitment targets and enhance the university's presence in the assigned region. The role will have a number of direct reports depending on the region.Responsibilities:Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement student recruitment strategies tailored to the specific country or region.Collaborate with faculties, marketing teams, and admissions to align recruitment efforts with university goals.Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and challenges within the region.Plan and execute marketing campaigns to attract prospective students, including awareness campaigns, lead generation, and conversion activities.Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong working relationships with university faculty members, internal stakeholders, and external partners such as agents, schools, and colleges.Represent the university at recruitment events, fairs, and high-visibility events within the region.Act as a strategic partner to global agents, focusing on the top agents in the region.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with the Director of Faculty Student Recruitment and other recruitment managers to ensure cohesive and aligned recruitment efforts.Ensure regular, clear, and transparent reporting and communications to internal King's teams, including student recruitment metrics and return on marketing investment measures.Campaign Management:Plan and execute marketing campaigns tailored to the needs of the region.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, making data-driven in-cycle adjustments where necessary.Develop personalised communication plans to engage prospective students throughout the application cycle.Budget Management:Monitor expenditures and be responsible for the overall budget and its efficient allocation within the region.Ensure compliance with university financial policies.People Management:Lead, develop, and coach the student recruitment team, ensuring they are market experts and effective ambassadors for King's College London.Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.Coach and develop any direct reports, providing constructive and timely feedback throughout the year.Tools and Data Analysis:Employ CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) to manage and analyse student recruitment data and customer acquisition/call reports.Implement data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI) to present data and research findings and insights.Skills and Competencies:Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of recruitment professionals.Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning skills to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret complex data to inform decision-making.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with faculty, internal stakeholders, and external partners.Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and make data-driven adjustments to recruitment strategies.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred.Proven experience in student recruitment and marketing within higher education.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategies.Excellent project management and organisational skills.Effective communication and collaboration abilities.Interested candidates are invited to share their updated CV at :
