Position Title: Pre UnderwriterLocation: Mysuru, KarnatakaShift: US ShiftEmployment Type: Full-time & WFORoles and Responding- Analyze and verify loan applications, including income verification, employment verification, asset verification, and credit history.- Evaluate financial risk factors and determine loan eligibility based on established criteria.- Order and review appraisals, title reports, and other loan documentation.- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and investor loan guidelines.- Communicate effectively with Loan Officers, Processors, borrowers, and other parties involved in the loan process.- Prepare comprehensive reports with clear justifications for approval or denial of loan applications.- Stay up-to-date on changes in mortgage lending regulations and industry standards.- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mortgage underwriting or a similar financial analysis role.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain complex financial concepts.- Proficiency in mortgage lending software and underwriting tools (Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines a plus).
