Landscape Estimation Engineer

About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented Landscape Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for landscape projects — including hardscape, softscape, and lighting works. This role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and coordination with design and execution teams.Key Responsibilities:- Review landscape drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare cost estimates.- Carry out quantity take-offs for all landscape elements (softscape, hardscape, lighting, fabrication work, and site furniture etc).- Prepare and maintain BOQs, rate analyses, and cost breakdowns.- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for material rates and quotations.- Support the design team in providing cost-effective design solutions and value engineering inputs.- Assist in tender documentation and bid preparation.- Evaluate variation orders and prepare cost impact assessments.- Maintain an updated database of material and labor costs.- Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications and standards.Required Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or related field.- 3–7 years of experience in estimation for landscape or civil construction projects.- Strong understanding of landscape materials, construction methods, and BOQ preparation.- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software- Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Preferred Skills:- Knowledge of landscape materials and plant material estimation.- Experience with tendering procedures and value engineering.- Familiarity with local market rates and supplier databases.Why Join Us:- Opportunity to work on prestigious landscape design and development projects.- Collaborative work environment with growth opportunities.- Exposure to innovative and sustainable landscape practices.
