Landscape Estimation Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented Landscape Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for landscape projects — including hardscape, softscape, and lighting works. This role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and coordination with design and execution teams. Key Responsibilities: - Review landscape drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare cost estimates. - Carry out quantity take-offs for all landscape elements (softscape, hardscape, lighting, fabrication work, and site furniture etc). - Prepare and maintain BOQs, rate analyses, and cost breakdowns. - Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for material rates and quotations. - Support the design team in providing cost-effective design solutions and value engineering inputs. - Assist in tender documentation and bid preparation. - Evaluate variation orders and prepare cost impact assessments. - Maintain an updated database of material and labor costs. - Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications and standards. Required Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or related field. - 3–7 years of experience in estimation for landscape or civil construction projects. - Strong understanding of landscape materials, construction methods, and BOQ preparation. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software - Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of landscape materials and plant material estimation. - Experience with tendering procedures and value engineering. - Familiarity with local market rates and supplier databases.
