This is a developer-first engineering role , not a QA/testing job.You'll work on complex backend systems , RESTful APIs, service integrations, and real-world performance scenarios with automation built in from Day 1.Your Role Will Involve:Backend Development (70%)Design and develop services using Node.js + TypeScriptArchitect scalable REST APIs and microservicesWork on caching, queues, concurrency, security , and fault toleranceHandle observability logging, metrics, alerts , and failoverAutomation Testing (30%)Implement unit , integration , and E2E testsWork with Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright (Selenium is a plus, but not mandatory)Embed testing into CI pipelines, Git workflows, and release processesBuild testable code from the start not after the factWhat You Bring:5-10 years of hands-on backend development using Node.jsStrong command of JavaScript/TypeScript , async programming, and API architectureExperience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright)Working knowledge of Selenium (added advantage only not core to the role)Exposure to PostgreSQL, MongoDB , or similar databasesHands-on with Docker, Git , CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)Practical knowledge of REST, auth flows, token security, and service resilience.Nice to Have:Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ , or other infra componentsFamiliarity with AWS/GCP , container orchestration (K8s is a bonus)Performance tuning or load testing experience (Artillery, Locust, JMeter)
