This is a developer-first engineering role, not a QA/testing job. You'll work on complex backend systems, RESTful APIs, service integrations, and real-world performance scenarios with automation built in from Day 1.Your Role Will Involve:Backend Development (70%)Design and develop services using Node.js + Type ScriptArchitect scalable REST APIs and microservicesWork on caching, queues, concurrency, security, and fault toleranceHandle observability logging, metrics, alerts, and failoverAutomation Testing (30%)Implement unit, integration, and E2 E testsWork with Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright (Selenium is a plus, but not mandatory)Embed testing into CI pipelines, Git workflows, and release processesBuild testable code from the start not after the factWhat You Bring:5-10 years of hands-on backend development using Node.jsStrong command of Java Script/Type Script, async programming, and API architectureExperience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright)Working knowledge of Selenium (added advantage only not core to the role)Exposure to Postgre SQL, Mongo DB, or similar databasesHands-on with Docker, Git, CI/CD tools (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab, Jenkins, etc.)Practical knowledge of REST, auth flows, token security, and service resilience. Nice to Have:Experience with Redis, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, or other infra componentsFamiliarity with AWS/GCP, container orchestration (K8s is a bonus)Performance tuning or load testing experience (Artillery, Locust, JMeter)
