Quality Control Engineer

Job Summary:The QC Engineer will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of machine assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components. This role ensures that products meet the required specifications, standards, and customer expectations before dispatch.Key Responsibilities:- Inspect incoming mechanical components and sub-assemblies for dimensional and visual accuracy.- Conduct in-process and final inspections of machine assemblies.- Prepare and maintain QC documentation such as inspection reports, deviation notes, and quality checklists.- Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and coordinate with relevant teams for corrective actions.- Ensure assembly processes comply with internal quality standards and ISO procedures.- Use measuring instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Dial Indicators, etc.- Collaborate with the production and design team for quality improvements.- Support root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.- Participate in internal audits and support external quality inspections if required.Skills Required:- Good understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T.- Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools and equipment.- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards is preferred.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Attention to detail and documentation skills.- Basic understanding of machine tools and assembly processes.
