Key Account Manager

Responsible to interact with customer allotted on day to day basis. Call up daily and check for new enquires from existing customers (deep selling).Need to work on enquiry received and quote rates after receipt of rates from pricing dept.Quote should cover all the details required by the customer.Negotiation of rates with the customer and get nominationQuote to be updated in cargo net.Ensure correct planning is done by ops and update customer accordingly.(Including pick up dates/ CFS cut off/CY cut off/ SI cut off/ Vessel / Carrier/ Overseas agent/ Transport vendors and other related vendors.)Closely monitor every ops activity and update customer accordingly.To handle all customer service/ overseas agent work and keep client updated with status of their respective shipments within stipulated time frame.Ensure shipment is loaded on the planned vessel.Coordinate with documentation and ensure the documents and bills are submitted on timeEnsure that all the cost and income is booked correctly by ops/documentation and job is closed on time.Job cost sheet to pull up from the systemDaily DSR to be sent to customer.Follow up for payments.Ensure invoices are done timely.To strive to generate new businesses.
