Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Design Architect at Hiten Sethi & Associates in Navi Mumbai. The Lead Design Architect will be responsible for Managing the project design development and delivering high quality documentation drawings at various stages of the project (for multiple projects) as per pre-determined deliverable schedule and within internal budget limits.
Drawings:
Ø Deliver as team, high quality architectural and interior finishes drawings and details at various stages of the project (for multiple projects) as per project specifications / time schedule
Ø Develop and implement drawing checklists for various drawing types.
Ø Check drawings/details prepared by self as well as by team as per appropriate checklist
Ø Check drawings/details prepared by consultants, provide mark-ups
Co-ordination:
Ø Understand and demonstrate the need for open and direct communication, both verbally and in writing; ensure that team communications are consistent and thorough
Ø Provide basic inputs regarding statutory requirements to core design team at concept / schematic stages if required.
Ø Effectively communicating design intent, project deliverables and schedule to team.
Ø Delegate various tasks to team and monitoring.
Ø Drive projects by effective proactive communication and scheduling & conducting meetings with Consultant Representatives for drawing coordination / follow-ups for structural / MEP / landscape / façade drawings / BoQs etc.
Ø Follow-up with client representative for payments.
Management:
Ø Keep weekly track of resource/budget utilization and ensure that it remains with allocated limits. Anticipate and proactively highlight and escalations / deviations from the same to Head –
Ø Demonstrate a highly organized and systematic approach to producing a project
Ø Demonstrate a high degree of time management skill and constantly seek to streamline processes and procedures in order to increase quality and efficiency
Ø Regularly review sets of the team’s deliverables for accuracy, efficiency, and thoroughness
Ø Take initiative to make positive change; assist the team to produce quality projects
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Architecture is preferred.
Technical Competencies

·       Advanced Knowledge of AutoCAD Software
·       Knowledge about allied services
·       Thorough knowledge of architectural design & development processes, materials, detailing etc.
·       Speed and accuracy in CAD drawings
