Role:
Overview We are seeking experienced BODS Developers with 4-6 years of expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS). The ideal candidate will work independently to design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs, mapping, and interfaces, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and BW systems.
Key Responsibilities Job Creation and Management:
• Develop new ETL jobs using SAP BODS.
• Design and implement mapping and data transformation processes.
• Schedule and monitor ETL jobs, ensuring optimal performance. Integration with SAP Systems:
• Configure and manage file-based interfaces to pick files and process them.
• Create and post IDocs to SAP S/4HANA and BW systems.
• Manage multiple interfaces, ensuring seamless data flow between systems. Independent Delivery:
• Work independently to handle complex ETL requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in BODS jobs and related processes. Scheduling and Automation:
• Learn and configure scheduling tools to automate job execution.
• Monitor schedules and handle job failures effectively.
Documentation and Communication:
• Document technical solutions, workflows, and configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver quality solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
• 4-6 years of hands-on experience with SAP BODS.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, job scheduling, and data transformation.
• Proficiency in working with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW, including IDoc creation and processing.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting multiple interfaces.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools and automation techniques is a plus
