As a Senior Technical EDI business analyst at Volvo Cars, you will act as an intermediary between the business community, technical community, and Volvo Cars’ trading partners to elicit, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which solutions are developed and delivered. You will perform business analysis techniques in working with these partners to understand the business processes and needs that enable EDI B2B integration projects to be successful and goals to be met. Manage EDI B2B projects through testing, validation, and implementation Develop life cycle documents, including detailed functional requirements, software (data translation) and other design specifications, and user manuals. Verify and validate complete end-to-end testing with the business and trading partners Work with the developers to verify project completion for supportability Utilize strong written and oral communication skills to regularly update stakeholders on project status, e.g. project phase, issues/roadblocks, go-live dates, etc. Develop and plan strategies and improvements for EDI Solutions within Volvo Cars together with Service Manager for EDI Maintain a high level of knowledge in the field of EDI and software as well as in Volvo Cars business architecture Knowledge of software architecture, integration concepts and integration patterns 3+ years of relevant experience in a Business or Technical Analyst role ~ Experience with Seeburger BIS suite or equivalent ~3+ years' experience with EDI formats ~ 3+ years’ experience in the transportation/logistics/supply chain field ~ Project management, time management, and problem-solving skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously ~ Ability to translate business requirements and design concepts into intuitive designs and solutions ~ Experience of messaging using IBM MQ (or equivalent)
