Software the fuel for mobility We bring bold digital visions to life So we re on the lookout for more curious and creative engineers who want to create change - one line of high-quality code at a time Our transformation isn t for everyone but if you re excited about solving the leading-edge technological challenges facing the auto industry then let s talk about your next move Let s introduce ourselves At Volvo Cars we are making bold digital visions come true We aim to be the leader in the automotive world by creating a digital ecosystem built around making our customers lives less complicated What we all have in common at Volvo Cars is our passion for protecting lives our endless curiosity and our dedication to create a new future for the automotive industry Our human centric focus is what separates us from all other car companies What you ll do EDI - Electronic Data Interchange is a part of Digital Platform and resides under the Integration and Classic Hosting domain The EDI service is a mixed delivery between outsourced services and in-house employees and consultants EDI team is looking to strengthen the Technical Business Analyst part with colleagues working from Volvo Cars India Tech hub in Bengaluru India Main responsibilities As a Senior Technical EDI business analyst at Volvo Cars you will act as an intermediary between the business community technical community and Volvo Cars trading partners to elicit clarify and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which solutions are developed and delivered EDI Solution Architecture aspiration is a plus since there is an opportunity for evolvement of the role You will perform business analysis techniques in working with these partners to understand the business processes and needs that enable EDI B2B integration projects to be successful and goals to be met You will also assist in test validation and the rolling out of enhancements and bug fixes Facilitate meetings with all stakeholders to elicit define and refine integration requirements Analyze develop and manage detailed requirements documentation Manage EDI B2B projects through testing validation and implementation Develop life cycle documents including detailed functional requirements software data translation and other design specifications and user manuals Provide test cases to the developers Verify and validate complete end-to-end testing with the business and trading partners Work with the developers to verify project completion for supportability Utilize strong written and oral communication skills to regularly update stakeholders on project status e g project phase issues roadblocks go-live dates etc Develop and plan strategies and improvements for EDI Solutions within Volvo Cars together with Service Manager for EDI Maintain a high level of knowledge in the field of EDI and software as well as in Volvo Cars business architecture Knowledge of software architecture integration concepts and integration patterns Knowledge of creating integration design proposals and documenting them What you ll bring 3 years of relevant experience in a Business or Technical Analyst role Experience with Seeburger BIS suite or equivalent 3 years experience with EDI formats Proficient with traditional and non-traditional forms of EDI GEFEG for documentation 3 years experience in the transportation logistics supply chain field Excellent oral and written communication skills Self-managed and motivated organized and detail-oriented Ability to create process flow documentation Ability to follow through with tasks to their completion Ability to work independently and within a team environment Project management time management and problem-solving skills ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to translate business requirements and design concepts into intuitive designs and solutions Ability to recognize complex problems and apply creativity to analyze solutions develop solutions and procedures Experience of messaging using IBM MQ or equivalent Volvo Cars For Life For nearly a century Volvo Cars has empowered people to move freely in a personal sustainable and safe way Today we are driving bold advancements in electrification sustainability and automotive safety To realise our ambitious vision we are seeking innovative minds who are ready to tackle the challenges of tomorrow - today In our company we believe extraordinary things are achieved by ordinary people with the drive to make a difference Bengaluru KA IN 562122 Job requisition ID 77978
