Title: Payments Domain Specialist – ACH, Wire, Zelle, RTP, and Mainframe Expertise

Job Description:

We are seeking a Payments Domain Specialist with strong expertise in payments functionalities and hands-on experience with mainframe systems . The ideal candidate will possess deep domain knowledge in various payment processes and technologies, including ACH , Wire Transfers , Checks , Remote Deposit Image Capture , Instant Payments (Zelle) , and Real-Time Payments (RTP) . This role involves working on complex payment solutions, ensuring seamless integration, and maintaining system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payments Domain Expertise:
  • Provide deep functional expertise in payment systems, including ACH , Wire , Checks , Remote Deposit Image Capture , Zelle , and RTP .
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for payments.
  • Mainframe System Management:
  • Utilize hands-on experience with mainframe systems to support and enhance payment processing workflows.
  • Debug, analyze, and resolve mainframe-related issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Solution Development and Support:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy payment solutions.
  • Participate in end-to-end system integration, testing, and validation of payment functionalities.
  • Process Improvement and Optimization:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize payment processing performance.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to payment functionalities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Provide technical and functional support during deployment and post-production phases.

Qualifications:

  • Domain Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of payment processes, including ACH , Wire Transfers , Checks , Zelle , RTP , and Remote Deposit Image Capture .
  • Familiarity with payment industry standards and compliance.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with mainframe systems .
  • Proficiency in debugging and maintaining payment-related mainframe applications.
  • Knowledge of system integration and testing processes.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile development methodologies.
  • Exposure to modern payment platforms and APIs.
