Job Description:
We are seeking a Payments Domain Specialist with strong expertise in payments functionalities and hands-on experience with mainframe systems . The ideal candidate will possess deep domain knowledge in various payment processes and technologies, including ACH , Wire Transfers , Checks , Remote Deposit Image Capture , Instant Payments (Zelle) , and Real-Time Payments (RTP) . This role involves working on complex payment solutions, ensuring seamless integration, and maintaining system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Payments Domain Expertise:
Provide deep functional expertise in payment systems, including ACH , Wire , Checks , Remote Deposit Image Capture , Zelle , and RTP .
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for payments.
Mainframe System Management:
Utilize hands-on experience with mainframe systems to support and enhance payment processing workflows.
Debug, analyze, and resolve mainframe-related issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Solution Development and Support:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy payment solutions.
Participate in end-to-end system integration, testing, and validation of payment functionalities.
Process Improvement and Optimization:
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize payment processing performance.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to payment functionalities.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Provide technical and functional support during deployment and post-production phases.
Qualifications:
Domain Expertise:
Strong knowledge of payment processes, including ACH , Wire Transfers , Checks , Zelle , RTP , and Remote Deposit Image Capture .
Familiarity with payment industry standards and compliance.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with mainframe systems .
Proficiency in debugging and maintaining payment-related mainframe applications.
Knowledge of system integration and testing processes.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Agile development methodologies.
Exposure to modern payment platforms and APIs.
