Collaborate with digital designers and firmware developers to realize algorithms with power and area efficient implementation Develop models in Matlab, C/C++ of the transmit & receive processing blocks defined by the specifications. Qualifications wish list for a systems team technical role: Year of experience - 5+ Years Experience in Digital Signal Processing, Wireless Communications and wireless chip development. Deep-knowledge of communication system theory and signal processing will be important for this role to design algorithms such as signal estimation and detection, channel estimation, equalization, forward-error correction, OFDM, MIMO detection, etc. Expertise in the 5 G NR physical layer standards. Experience with floating-point algorithm development and link-level simulation modeling the 5 G NR physical layer with Matlab, C/C++ and/or Python. Experience with fixed-point algorithm development and modeling with Matlab, C/C++ and/or Python. Experience/expertise in link-level simulations, and the study/development of L1 processing algorithms. Strong analytical skills (linear algebra, random processes, detection and estimation, etc.) At least a under-graduate degree (graduate degrees preferred).
