Location: Bangalore
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Workplace Designer with 2–3 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Architecture or Interior Design, possess strong technical skills, and have a keen interest in exploring all aspects of design from concept to construction. Workplace design experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development:
Assist in the creation of innovative and practical design concepts.
Contribute to space planning with an understanding of ergonomics and functionality.
Technical Support:
Utilize AutoCAD, SketchUp, and PowerPoint for design and documentation tasks.
Ensure accurate and efficient preparation of design deliverables.
Coordination and Communication:
Communicate effectively with vendors for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) coordination.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth project execution.
Learning and Growth:
Actively ask questions and show interest in learning new skills and processes.
Explore all phases of design, from conceptualization to construction, to gain comprehensive project knowledge.
Organization and Teamwork:
Stay organized and manage tasks diligently to meet project deadlines.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
2–3 years of professional experience; workplace design experience is a plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and PowerPoint.
Understanding of space planning, ergonomics, and design principles.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Hardworking, collaborative, and eager to learn.
