This leadership role will ensure the department achieves excellence in teaching, research, and student outcomes.Key Responsibilities:- Provide academic leadership and vision to the Psychology department.- Mentor and manage faculty to enhance teaching quality and research productivity.- Develop and periodically update the curriculum to align with industry and academic standards.- Coordinate with the university’s academic bodies for Board of Studies, syllabus design, and evaluation reforms.- Foster a vibrant research culture with active participation in publications, projects, and conferences.- Organize departmental events such as seminars, symposiums, student workshops, and awareness drives.- Promote student support services, counselling, and engagement programs.- Collaborate with other institutions and industry for joint research or training opportunities.- Ensure smooth administrative operations and maintain academic discipline.- Represent the department in institutional development initiatives.Experience: Minimum 12 years of teaching & research experience with prior academic leadership preferred.Qualification: Ph.D. in Psychology (Mandatory)
