Job Description:
We are looking for experienced QA/QC Inspectors in Mechanical and Piping to oversee and inspect activities during shutdown projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all mechanical and piping systems meet established standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, test, and verify mechanical and piping systems to ensure compliance with quality standards during shutdowns.
- Conduct inspections on equipment and piping modifications to confirm adherence to project specifications.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and applicable codes to validate system integrity.
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) to assess the quality and functionality of mechanical and piping components.
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records for all project phases.
- Collaborate with project teams to address quality-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure all testing and inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and in good working condition.
- Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards during all QA/QC activities.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team to ensure quality compliance.
Requirements:
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE).
- 10–12 years of experience in QA/QC inspection of mechanical and piping systems in shutdown projects.
- Extensive knowledge of codes, standards, and quality requirements for mechanical and piping systems.
- Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
