Position: Safety Inspector
- Location - UAE - On Site
- Department: Health, Safety, and Environmental
- Reporting to: Safety Officer
- Salary - 3500 AED to 5000 + Other Benefits (As per UAE Law)
Job Objective
- To ensure statutory minimum safety, health, and environmental standards in the workplace are adhered to.
- To support and promote a safe work environment.
- To coordinate with the production team to ensure various safety inspection and testing programs are implemented and maintained.
Key Accountabilities
- Under supervision and jointly with another safety officer, carry out construction safety inspections ensuring compliance with all necessary safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Act as a member of the investigation team to carry out joint accident/incident investigations.
- Conduct joint follow-up site safety inspections under supervision to ensure previous reports are closed out.
- Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with ADPHC/OSHAD, DM, or other local regulatory requirements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned with consent from the Group HSE Manager.

Education, Qualification, and Experience
- Minimum Education: High School Education completed.
- Minimum Qualification: IOSH Managing Safely certificate (NVQ level 2 equivalent) – mandatory.
- NEBOSH General Certificate in OHS (or NVQ level 3 equivalent) or OSHA 10 Hours General Industry Safety and Health Program – preferred.
- Additional HSE-related training – desirable.
- Minimum Experience: Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Health and Safety within engineering construction infrastructure projects.
Note
- Incumbents should agree to work in all ACC operational areas, including land and sea.
- The job objectives and key accountabilities outlined above represent the minimum requirements.
- Employees who do not currently meet the minimum qualification criteria are encouraged to obtain the necessary credentials within the next 24 months. Once qualified, they will become eligible for promotion and continued growth within the company.
