KITTS & NEVIS INTERNATIONAL SHIP REGISTRY (skanregistry.com) Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Technical Administrator at St Kitts and Nevis International Ship Registry. The Technical Administrator will be working within the Technical Department and you will be responsible for communicating with clients, performing administrative processes within the Technical Department, utilizing clerical skills, providing administrative assistance, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a new role that has been created that you can really make your own.1. Database Management: Maintain accurate records on in-house platforms and shared    drives.2. Flag State Inspection Coordination: Organize and facilitate inspections.3. Pre-Registration Flag State Inspection Coordination: Organize and facilitate inspections.4. PSC Inspection Data Tracking: Monitor and update Inspection and detention data.5. Inter/Intra-Departmental Coordination: Foster effective communication.6. Assist in offline and online documentation.7. Email Management: Ensure business continuity.8. Technical Review and Tracking: Maintain continuity.9. General Administration and Work Log: Record tasks.10. Research vessel/ISM manager history.11. Contingency Planning: Arrange backup technical support.Requirements:1. Education:- Graduate/Diploma holder in Technical or Management studies (3-year full-time program post-High School)2. Knowledge:- Familiarity with shipping commercial/technical activities- Shipping nomenclature- Ship operation and certification roles (Crew, Inspectors, Surveyors, Flag State, Port State)- Flag State PSC database management- IMO and leading flag MS Acts (USCG/MCGA)- Ship classification process- ISO 90013. Skills:- Self-motivated and independent- Open to learning- Accountability- Interpersonal skillsA.   What We Offer:- Competitive salary- Opportunities for growth- Collaborative work environment
