About PMKK

The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) initiative, under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), establishes Model Training Centres to deliver high-quality, industry-aligned skill training. Each district can have only one PMKK centr to address its specific skilling needs. Rooman has been awarded 30 PMKK centres across India to train unemployed youth and working professionals, preparing them for futuristic job roles through government-sponsored Future Skills programs.

  • Maharashtra : 5 centres
  • Bihar : 5 centres
  • Andhra Pradesh : 4 centres
  • Chennai, Srinagar, Imphal, Thoubal : 1 centre each

Ongoing Projects:

VTU Internship: We have recently partnered with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) to deliver Future Skill training to 40,000 final-year students in over 200 engineering colleges across Karnataka.

Future Skills Training at PMKK : Rooman has received a mandate from NSDC to deliver Future Skills training at full capacity across its 30 PMKK centers , with a target to train 36,000 students by March 2025.

SMART City Projects : Rooman is actively engaged in implementing and managing advanced technologies for multiple SMART City initiatives across India. These projects aim to enhance urban infrastructure, security, and overall quality of life. Currently, we are executing projects in Shimoga, Davangere, and Goa and have submitted bids for four additional SMART City tenders.
