Job Description :
New Product development
- Engineering Build P1, P2 and EVT Build CNC process development
- Achieving Engineering quality and Delivery Target
- Drive FACA and DOE for Corrective and preventive actions with cross functional teams.
- Co ordinate with FE for fixture design input, and Fixture try-out.
- Cutter & Holder design and development for Engineering Build with Alt strategy.
- Cutter life prove out with Cutter CPC target achievement.
- CAM development and feasibility study.
- Responsible for DOE approval/rejection with respect to corrective actions relevant to the root causes
- Communicates with CFTs to resolve CNC technical issues, if any
-Collaborates with SCM and strategic partners for alt Vendor prove out
- Authorizes changes and grants permissions for execution of Does during NPI and MP on continues metrics improvement.
- Documentations prep and handover to MP team.
- Sustenance of KPI Quality, Cutter cost and CT during Ramp.
- Leading special process - DDG and Riveting and continues improvement on CT and Localizations.
- Responsible to achieve the build schedule and shipment to FATP.
- FATP complaint analysis and FACA with stipulated time frame.
Technical Specifications
CNC
'- Proven Records in NX- CAM , Teamcenter, SAP, MS Office.
- Sound knowledge in CNC New product prove out, Capability study and Cycle time prove out on High speed machining center ( VMC) (Must Have)
-Knowledge on CNC Process Engineering, Cutters, Probing, Surface finishing operations for example Deburring (Must Have) and Double Disk Grinding and Riveting (Good to Have).
- Experience in Micro cutting tool design, development and prove out and trouble shooting.
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, processes and achievable tolerances, Knowledge of design and manufacturing requirements & constraints on typical plastics & sheet metal components.
- Knowledge of ISO standard of GD&T
- Knowledge in Deburring and surface finishing- polishing is add on advantage.
- Knowledge on innovation project and patent filing with Interprenual mindset.
- Knowledge on FACA, DOE and systematic problem solving.
- Cost acumen ship - to achieve the cost target with continues improvement.
- Business Acumen ship - New product and process development and buy in with Customer. Developing the Low cost Automation as alternate manual processes.
- Knowledge on digitalization - i4.0, Lean sig sigma is add on advantage.
