Senior Process Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to lead the development of complex dynamic simulation process models and smart applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in refinery or petrochemical operations, process controls, and process engineering. They should be proficient in modeling tools such as Aspen Hysys, Aspen GDOT, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro, etc.

Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • 8+ years' experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations/process controls/process engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring, and First Principal modeling

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to understand project requirements and translate them into specifications and project deliverables
  • Produce timely and high-quality project delivery, including building and configuring dynamic process and flow models for Oil & Gas Processes
  • Run simulations for wide ranges of scenarios with built models, carry out dynamic process and control studies, and perform optimization and de-bottlenecking studies
  • Assist with Flow Assurance model building for Real-time production assurance systems and manage the development of functional and concept technical design specifications

A strong understanding of DCS and ESD is an added advantage.
