Fintech Product Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced fintech product specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative financial solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute product roadmaps, aligning with business objectives and user requirements.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of regulatory and tax-reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with IRS and state regulations.
  • Drive feature development to enhance filing accuracy, form validation, payer/payee workflows, and bulk e-filing capabilities, leveraging automation tools to reduce manual intervention in tax filings.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, sales, and support teams to deliver seamless and intuitive filing experiences, gathering feedback from end users to define pain points and improvement opportunities.
  • Built and maintain integrations with accounting/payroll software and enterprise APIs to facilitate large-scale tax reporting operations.
  • Track product metrics such as error rates, filing volume trends, and customer satisfaction, using insights to optimize feature performance and ensure scalability during peak tax seasons.
Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or regulatory compliance domains.
  • Prior work with tax software or IRS-integrated products is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements and ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and leverage insights to drive product decisions.
  • Problem-solving mindset, ability to identify pain points in the payments process and design innovative solutions to address them.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
