Job Overview

The Power Electronic Components Specialist plays a pivotal role in the development and integration of onboard chargers, DC-DC converters, and power distribution units (PDU) for electric vehicle applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support application firmware development for onboard chargers, DC-DC converters, and PDU.
  • Work on hardware design ensuring compliance with functional safety and EMI-EMC standards.
  • Assist in calibration and tuning of parameters with different ECUs.
  • Develop and execute validation and testing plans.
  • Support CAN communication setup and analyse/debug components in development and field applications.
  • Contribute to thermal management and power efficiency optimization of Power Electronic components.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams like powertrain, battery, and vehicle control systems. Research and contribute to next-generation Power Electronic technology for improved performance and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Expertise in Power Electronic Components and their integration.
  • Firmware development skills.
  • Knowledge of functional safety and EMI-EMC standards.
  • Experience with CAN communication.
